Kanga expelled from the national team

Midfielder of Red Star Belgrade and Gabon international, Guelor Kanga, has been expelled from the national team for a bizarre reason.

He left Belgrade for national team duties but was expelled for violating strict rules set by the coach.

Kanga accommodated his brother and his wife in the hotel where the national team was staying, which the Gabon coach, Thierry Mouyouma, did not forgive as he had implemented strict rules. As a result, the Red Star player will miss the friendly matches against Senegal and Congo.

In his career, the midfielder has played 63 matches for the national team and scored two goals.

The Gabonese has been a player for Red Star Belgrade since 2020 when he arrived from Sparta Prague.
