Juventus captain tested positive for coronavirus

Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini is positive for coronavirus, the Turin club announced.
After the reserve goalkeeper Carlos Pinzon and midfielder Arthur Melo, the team recorded the third positive finding for the coronavirus, the captain of Juventus, and the Italian national football team Giorgio Chiellini.

According to the club, he is in the prescribed isolation, respecting all measures.

“The player respects all measures, is in self-isolation, in accordance with the health protocol.”

Giorgio joined the Turin team from Fiorentina in 2005 and has recorded 546 games since then.

This club from Turin will play its first match in this new year on January 6, at home against Napoli.
