Juventus has not yet completed the transfer window, and its management has prepared a new offer for Barcelona forward Memphis Depay.
The team from Turin has been trying to sign the Dutchman for weeks, but there was not enough success in doing so. That’s why they decided to send an “enhanced” offer.
Depay is a great desire of coach Massimiliano Allegri, so Juventus will not give up on the Dutch striker so easily.
Juventus had a board meeting attended by sporting director Federico Cherubini, vice-president Pavel Nedved and team coach Allegri, and the main topic and discussion was whether to try to bring in Depay or Poland’s Arkadiusz Milik.
Milik is certainly a cheaper option with a lower salary of two million euros per season, while to hire the Dutchman, they would have to provide him with a salary of seven million euros.
However, due to the excessive desire of Allegri, it was decided to try with Depay, because he believes that he would go well in tandem with Dusan Vlahovic in the rush, since he is a more mobile teammate.
We’ll see how this plays out in the coming days, but there isn’t much time given that the end of the transfer window is approaching.
