Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Jhon Lucumì from Bologna as they continue to strengthen their defence under Luciano Spalletti.
The Colombian centre-back is set to join the Turin club for around €20 million and is expected to sign a five-year contract worth €2.5 million per season, plus bonuses.
Lucumì, who has played in Serie A since 2022, had attracted interest from several clubs in recent weeks, including Como, Besiktas, Nottingham Forest, Galatasaray and Sunderland. However, he reportedly turned down those offers as he waited for the opportunity to join Juventus.
The 28-year-old is expected to arrive in Turin between Sunday and Monday and will not feature in Bologna’s friendly against Brighton.
His arrival will give Spalletti another defensive option, with Lucumì joining Bremer, Gatti, Kelly and Rugani in the centre-back group. Pierre Kalulu will also remain an important part of the Juventus defence.
Meanwhile, Juventus are still working to resolve their goalkeeper situation, with Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario reportedly emerging as an increasingly strong option.
