The financial inspection knocked on the door of Juventus, and the reason for that is the alleged embezzlement of money in the amount of 50 million euros.
The club from Turin can be in big trouble. According to the Italian media, the president of Juventus, Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, the vice-president of the club, and the former sports director Fabio Paratici, along with three other leaders, are under investigation due to alleged false financial calculations.
The inspection reviewed the transfer documentation, the club’s financial reports, as well as all financial documentation.
The exchange of players between the “Old Lady” and Barcelona is also under scrutiny, according to which Miralem Pjanić ended up in Spain, and the Brazilian Arthur in Turin.
The public prosecutor’s office announced that the file was open, but the details of the investigation, as well as the outcome, were announced in the next few months, when everything goes through a detailed check.
What should be the penalty for Juventus in case the suspicions are confirmed?
