German coach Jurgen Klopp has joined the circle of people who dispute the awarding of the “Golden Ball” to Lionel Messi.
The Argentine was awarded the seventh “Golden Ball” last night in Paris, according to many, unfairly.
Klopp could not believe that Robert Lewandowski did not receive the recognition and that his player Mohamed Salah finished only as of the seventh.
“I am surprised by Salah’s position, to be honest. If you don’t give the Golden Ball to Lewandowski, then it’s hard to give it at all. “Mo should have been better placed, definitely,” said Jurgen Klopp.
