John Terry Reportedly Close to Coaching Saudi Al-Shabab

According to British media reports, the legendary Chelsea footballer John Terry is on the verge of taking over the Saudi club Al-Shabab.

As reported by The Sun, it’s said that the 32-year-old former player has already reached a verbal agreement with the Premier League team in Saudi Arabia.

Previously, Terry served as an assistant coach under Dean Smith at Aston Villa and Leicester. However, after his time as an assistant, he decided against taking on a full managerial role, citing that he didn’t feel ready for it.

Currently, Terry is working as a consultant in Chelsea’s academy. But if the reports from the British newspaper are accurate, he could soon be returning to the world of coaching.

This move would see John Terry joining another legendary football player, Steven Gerrard of Liverpool, in Saudi Arabia. Gerrard currently holds managerial duties at Al-Itifaq.
