Jack Grealish: It was difficult to adapt at City

The football player of Manchester City and the English national team, Jack Grealish, spoke about how difficult the period of adaptation in the new club was.

He joined the ranks of the English champions from Aston Villa for 100 million euros.

“When I came, to be honest, it was much more difficult than I expected,” Grealish told Sky Sports, then continued:

“In my head, I thought that he was coming to a team that is at the top of the league and that I would have a lot of goals and assists, but that was obviously not the case. Many teams want to oppose us, which was not the case at Aston Villa”.

He also referred to the cooperation with Dino Smith.

“Smith would tell me to try to find the weakest link in the opponent’s defense, be it on the left side, the right side or the middle of the field. I came to Siti after playing all my life at Villa where I didn’t have to adapt. I didn’t realize how difficult it is to adapt to another team and coach”.

This season, Jack Grealish scored one goal and registered three assists in 11 appearances in the Premier League.
