LEAGUE OF NATIONS: Italy is better than Hungary, Germany dropped the advantage against England!

Italy celebrated at home against Hungary in the League of Nations with 2: 1, while Germany drew with England with the result 1: 1!

Robert Mancini’s players justified the role of favorites.

The beginning of the match was not too interesting and both teams felt the field.

The first opportunity in the match happened in the 21st minute, when Mancini ran away from his keeper and sent the ball with his head a little outside the goal frame.

Hungary readily responded to this. Sallai sent a projectile into the upper corner of the goal, but Donaruma showed why he was one of the best goalkeepers in the world and reacted superbly.

After a somewhat calmer pace of play, the silence was broken by Italy. Spinazzola played to Barella who shot from the edge of the penalty area and knocked the ball into the goal for 1: 0!

“Azure” did not stop here, so they doubled the advantage just before the end of the first half. Politano showed an excellent overview of the game and passed the ball to Pellegrini, who routinely beat the goalkeeper for 2: 0 from close range before going on vacation.

The second half brought new excitement.

Sallai was again a danger for Italy’s goal, but it was inaccurate and the result remained the same.

Politano, on the other hand, did the same, but his shot from a distance was inaccurate and failed to increase the home team’s advantage.

Hungary managed to reduce the gap in the 61st minute. Mancini reacted clumsily in his penalty area and defeated his goalkeeper with 2: 1 during the shooting.

In the continuation of the match, Italy successfully controlled the pace of the match and routinely brought the duel to an end.

Germany celebrated at home with a minimum against England.

Hoffman directed the first opportunity for the match, but his goal was annulled due to an offside in the 23rd minute.

Only four minutes later, Kane threatened with a great shot inside the penalty area, but he flew over the crossbar.

There were no changes until the very end of the first part of the game when Musiala picked up the deduction and shot hard. His shot went in the middle of the goal, which was easy prey for Pickford.

At half time, the result was 0: 0.

It didn’t take long for Germany to gain an advantage in the continuation of the game.

Kimmich sent an excellent pass at the end of which Hoffman found himself and routinely defeated Pickford for 1: 0 in the 50th minute of the match!

A somewhat calmer period of the game followed. Muller had a great chance to double the home team’s advantage in the 70th minute when he ran on a great pass and sent a shot from the penalty area, but the England goalkeeper was up to the task.

Werner, as usual, came out as a loser from a one-on-one duel with the goalkeeper, as he decided to shoot in the middle of the goal in the 75th minute.

Kane returned the favor with a great chance in the 77th minute. He escaped the defense and received a pass from the first, but Neuer managed to catch the ball and send it out of the goal.

When it seemed that everything was over, a penalty was awarded to England. The Tottenham striker approached the ball and routinely defeated Neuer to equalize in the 88th minute.

This was also the last chance in the match. After a few missed chances, Kane managed to score in the end and thus secure a point on an awkward away game.
