UEFA EURO 2028 was officially launched today with events across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The tournament will be the biggest jointly hosted sporting event by the co-host nations, with over three million tickets available, more than any previous EURO.
The opening match will take place in Cardiff on 9 June, and the final will be at Wembley on 9 July. There will be 51 matches over 31 days in nine stadiums across eight host cities, with host nations playing group games at home if they qualify.
The UEFA EURO 2028 brand was unveiled at 20:28 in Piccadilly Circus, London, and at local events across the UK and Ireland, celebrating emotion, unity, and the joy of football.
The tournament will also feature the largest community programme ever, promoting inclusion, volunteering, and positive social impact, with the qualifying draw scheduled for Belfast on 6 December 2026.
