Italian coach Stefano De Angelis has been appointed as the new head coach of Palermo’s Primavera side.
The announcement marks a significant step in De Angelis’ coaching career as he takes charge of the club’s Under-20 team, which competes in Italy’s Primavera championship.
De Angelis arrives with experience in youth development and will now be tasked with nurturing Palermo’s next generation of talent, helping bridge the gap between the academy and the senior squad.

His appointment comes as Palermo continue to invest in the development of young players, with the Primavera programme playing a key role in the club’s long-term strategy.
The news may also be of interest to Maltese football fans, as De Angelis previously coached in Malta before returning to Italy.
