Ex-Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has become a father for the first time with his young spouse.
The 32-year-old footballer married Aisha Tamba, aged 19, in an Islamic arranged ceremony in January 2024. The pair from Senegal had maintained privacy about their relationship until their wedding.
Tamba was still a student when she met ex-Southampton forward Mane, who reportedly vowed to marry her as soon as they started dating. The couple have now welcomed their first child, a baby girl, as confirmed by Mane’s current club, Al-Nassr.
In a nod to her berth, Mane celebrated his goal in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 win at home to Al-Kholood on Friday by rocking his arms. The 32-year-old, who moved to Saudi Arabia from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, was beaming with pride after doubling Al-Nassr’s lead, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring first.
