Mourinho signs for Fenerbahce

Jose Mourinho was officially introduced as the new manager of Fenerbahce, much to the delight of the thousands of passionate supporters in attendance.

Having previously managed top English clubs such as Manchester United, Tottenham, and Chelsea, Mourinho put pen to paper on his contract at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The fans erupted in chants and cheers, showing their unwavering support for their new coach.

To the joy of the crowd, Mourinho proudly displayed the team’s yellow shirt, symbolizing his commitment to the club. He expressed his gratitude to the fans for their warm welcome after arriving on Sunday following his attendance at the Champions League final at Wembley.

The length of Mourinho’s contract is believed to be two years, marking an exciting new chapter in his illustrious managerial career.

The Istanbul team holds a prominent position in Turkish football history, having achieved significant success. However, they have not secured the league championship since 2014.

Mourinho’s illustrious career boasts an impressive collection of 26 major titles, earned during his stints with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Roma. Additionally, he guided Tottenham to the final of the Carabao Cup before his dismissal in 2021.

Remarkably, Mourinho is the sole manager to triumph in the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
