Fenerbahce announced on Thursday that they have secured the signing of Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla.

This surpasses their previous record fee of 15 million euros, which was paid to Olympique de Marseille for Cengiz Under. The 27-year-old En-Nesyri has spent his entire playing career in Spain, making the move to Sevilla from Leganes in 2020. He has an impressive record of 51 goals in 143 LaLiga appearances and has played a crucial role in helping his team secure two Europa League titles. In addition to his club success, En-Nesyri has also performed well on the international stage. He has scored 20 goals in 73 games for Morocco and has represented his country in four African Cup of Nations tournaments. Fenerbahce, who finished as runners-up in the previous season’s Turkish Super Lig, will have the experienced Jose Mourinho at the helm as their manager.
