Deal done for Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe has agreed to a contract with Real Madrid, which will take effect once his current deal with Paris St-Germain expires on 30 June. The French striker had previously expressed his intention to join the Bernabeu in February, and in May, he confirmed that he would be leaving PSG at the conclusion of the season.

Now, at 25 years old, Mbappe has officially signed terms with Real Madrid and will make the move to Spain once the La Liga transfer window opens on 1 July. Madrid is expected to make an official announcement regarding the deal next week and may even present Mbappe as their newest addition at the Bernabeu ahead of Euro 2024.

With 256 goals to his name, Mbappe holds the record for the most goals scored for PSG since his loan move from Monaco in 2017. He also played a pivotal role in France’s victory in the 2018 World Cup.
