Atletico Madrid has completed the signing of Sorloth, a talented striker from Norway

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Alexander Sorloth, the striker, from Villarreal, another team in Laliga. The agreement between the two clubs was announced on Saturday and Sorloth will be tied to Atletico for a duration of four years.

In the previous season, the 28-year-old Norwegian international netted a total of 26 goals for Villarreal across all competitions, with an impressive 23 of those goals being scored in Laliga. This achievement placed him in second position on the league’s top scorers’ list, trailing only behind Artem Dovbyk of Girona, who recently made a move to AS Roma. Although the official transfer fee has not been disclosed, Spanish media outlets have reported that it is in the region of 32 million euros ($34.9 million).
