The legendary Spaniard Andres Iniesta believes that Lionel Messi was the best football player of all time even before he won the world championship title.
“From my point of view, it was not necessary for Messi to win the World Cup for the status of the best of all time. With or without the World Cup trophy, he is the best. And I believe that people who didn’t believe in it before he won the World Cup will again find some excuses that he is not the best,” he said for the Spanish Marca.
Lionel and Iniesta played 488 matches together.
The experienced midfielder currently plays in Japan’s Kobe.
