Belgium’s assistant coach Thierry Henry will lead the national team in the League of Nations match against the Netherlands, as the first coach Roberto Martinez has been suspended, the Football Association of Belgium announced.
For the former striker of Arsenal and the French national team, it will be his debut appearance on the bench of Belgium.
Martinez was sent off in stoppage time of yesterday’s match in Brussels between Belgium and Wales, which went to the home team with a score of 2:1.
The Netherlands and Belgium will play in Amsterdam on Sunday in the match of the last sixth round of Group 4 of the Nations League A.
Belgium will need a win by more than three goals to qualify for the final tournament.
