HAMŠIK ANNOUNCES THE END: Trabzon will be the last club in his career

Slovak footballer Marek Hamšík announced that the game against Alanyaspor will be the last one he will play in his career and thanked the clubs he played for.

The 35-year-old footballer’s contract with Trabzon expires at the end of the month, and in two years he has played 64 games and scored five goals with five assists.

“It was not an easy decision, but I made it in agreement with my family.” Trabzon will be my last club in my career. I will play the last match on Saturday. I want to thank all the clubs I played for for giving me this opportunity. Thank you, I have fulfilled my dream,” Hamšík said.

In his 15 years in the jersey of the Slovak national team, he became the captain and the best scorer in history, scoring 26 goals in 136 games.

They will say goodbye to the fans of Trabzon already on Saturday in the match against Alanyaspor.

Before Trabzon, he played successfully for Napoli, where he played 12 seasons, played 520 games, scored 121 goals, and recorded 103 assists.
