GUARDIOLA ON CITY RIVAL: We are good neighbors, they should not be afraid

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola announced the city derby in the FA Cup final at Wembley, which will be played on June 3.

Siti will fight for the trophy of the oldest club competition in the world with city rival United.

City reached the final with a routine 3:0 victory over the lower league Sheffield United, while United were only eliminated by Brighton after a penalty shootout.

The final is scheduled for June 3 at Wembley, and City have a chance to become only the second club in history to win the treble, given that they are still in the game on all fronts.

Only United managed to do that in 1999.

“They don’t have to be afraid, we are good neighbors. Neighbors should always be good to each other,’ Guardiola was sarcastic.

“We are still far from the titles. In the six years I’ve been here, we’ve lost in the final stages of the competition, in the Champions League final or the FA Cup semi-final. I am proud of everything that I and my colleagues have done. We won the Premier League, otherwise another manager would probably be here. I’m not stupid, I know how to analyze the team and what we need to be at the desired level at the end of the season,’ said Pep Guardiola.
