Oratory Youths 1-4 Ghajnsielem FC
In an exciting match of the BOV GFA Gozo Football League 1st Division, Ghajnsielem FC secured a commanding 4-1 victory over Oratory Youths at Gozo Stadium on Friday, 18 October 2024. Referee Joseph Scerri officiated the match.
Ghajnsielem started strong, with James Tabone putting them ahead in the 35th minute. Just before half-time, Haraan Hajazan Goncalves Barbosa doubled the lead, making it 2-0 in the 44th minute.
Oratory Youths made a spirited comeback early in the second half when Rian Almeida Lopes scored in the 49th minute, reducing the deficit to 1-2. However, Barbosa quickly restored Ghajnsielem’s two-goal advantage, scoring his second just three minutes later in the 52nd minute. Naim Ibrahim Belhadj then capped off the scoring for Ghajnsielem with a goal in the 63rd minute, sealing the 4-1 victory.
