Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard said that the club will take into consideration the vaccination of football players before they are brought in during the winter transfer period.
“We take care when bringing in players. So, I am sure that attention will be paid to this issue as well, but obviously we will cut short if we find that a certain football player can make us better ” – said Gerrard.
He also emphasized that the vaccination certificate will not be a decisive factor, but that it will certainly be important.
“I don’t think it’s right to comment on whether I would bring an unvaccinated player, but that would be part of our conversations in the background,” he concluded.
