Fulham are returning to the Premier League this year and the goal will be survival, something that they did not manage to do in previous seasons. Now they will simply be forced.
That is why the London team intends to be very active this summer and bring in enough quality players who could play at the Premier League level.
One of them could be Norwich’s right back, Max Aarons. Only two seasons ago, when the “Canaries” were also in the Premier League for this defender, almost the entire “big six” were interested. Both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham, were scouts at Carrow Road.
However, his transfer never materialized because, after that, he fit into the gray of Norwich, who eventually dropped out of the league. None of those mentioned wanted to take a risk on the nineteen-year-old for whom the club was asking too much money.
Fulham are interested in his services and will be able to afford them because the price has dropped significantly. As Norwich will most likely be eliminated in the Championship, Max’s price will be only 20 million pounds.
It is clear that there will be no transfer to a big club. At least not now. He is still a player who is only 22 years old, and it would not be bad for him to tie the seasons in the strongest rank in English football.
Currently at Fulham, the position of right back is covered by Nico Williams. This defender is on loan from Anfield, to which he will return this summer. As Williams is not in Jurgen Klopp’s plans, the club from Craven Cottage will negotiate with the “reds” about a possible buyout.
