FC Noah march on to next qualifying round in UEFA Conference League eliminating AEK Athens

FC Noah demonstrated that they were no one game wonders when they managed to qualify for the next round of the UEFA Conference League by eliminating Greek giants AEK Athens.

Although Noah lost the tie in Athens by a solitary goal scored in the 92nd minute, they still went through virtue of their 3-1 victory in the first leg in Armenia.

Local team Sliema Wanderers were much criticized when they suffered a 7-0 loss against FC Noah but it is now apparent that this team is going places. After all the Armenian outfit are definitely not some third raters from Gibralter who were thrashed in a previous round and who eliminated Malta’s champions Hamrun Spartans.

FC Noah now face Slovakian side Ruzomberek in their quest to reach the group stages of the Conference League.
