Ten Hag declares the need for a striker to boost Manchester United's performance

Erik ten Hag, the coach of Manchester United, announced that the club is actively searching for a new striker this summer. The primary motivation for this decision is the heavy load of matches that the team plays throughout the season.

In recent years, Manchester United has been struggling to regain the dominance they once had in both the UK and Europe, and the Dutchman believes that acquiring a classic striker is a step in the right direction.

We’ve been playing with nine players throughout the season. Ronaldo left, and Martial and Sancho have been injured. It’s clear that we have to bring in a striker, given the number of games we have to play,” said Ten Haag.

The club has reportedly set its sights on Harry Kane as their first choice for the position, with a proposed transfer fee of €100 million and a salary of €350,000 per week.
