The Premier League has announced a new set of fixture changes for the opening months of the 2026/27 season, with several high-profile matches moved to different dates and kick-off times following the latest broadcast selections.
One of the biggest changes sees Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday, 11 October, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30pm. The match was originally due to be played on the Saturday and will now feature as one of the weekend’s major televised fixtures.
Another headline fixture has also been moved. Chelsea will welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, 31 October, but the match will now begin at 12:30pm, rather than the originally scheduled 3pm kick-off.
The changes cover Matchweeks six to nine, taking in fixtures following the first international break and running through the beginning of November.
Arsenal will also play away from home on Sunday, 1 November, when they travel to face Burnley, while Newcastle United’s meeting with Everton will take place on Monday, 2 November, bringing the latest round of fixture changes to a close.
Among the other revised fixtures, Arsenal will host Leeds United at 12:30pm on Saturday, 10 October, while Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur at 5:30pm later that day.
On Sunday, 11 October, Crystal Palace will host Nottingham Forest and Hull City will meet Everton, with both matches scheduled for 2pm. Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City will then take centre stage at 4:30pm.
The following day, Coventry City will face Newcastle United in an 8pm Monday-night fixture.
Further changes have also been made for the weekend of 17 October, including Everton’s home match against Chelsea, which is scheduled for a 12:30pm kick-off.
The revised schedule means supporters will have to keep a close eye on kick-off times, with television selections continuing to play a major role in determining when some of the Premier League’s biggest fixtures are played.
