Sale at Old Trafford: Anthony, Sancho, and Martial on the transfer list

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to become one of the owners of Manchester United, acquiring a 25% stake in the club on Monday, according to reports from British media. His arrival signals an anticipated overhaul within the club, with Anthony, Jadon Sancho, and Anthony Martial topping the list of potential changes.

The British billionaire is making considerable efforts to become a part of the club, and it seems that this will soon come to fruition. The British tabloid “The Sun” suggests that significant changes will occur within the team upon his arrival.

Anthony arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax for a substantial fee but has struggled to make a significant impact. The Brazilian has been under scrutiny for a potential departure or loan since January, given his inability to find the back of the net this season.

Martial, once a shadow of his former self from a few years ago, has had forgettable performances in the last two seasons at United, indicating that he might soon have the freedom to choose a new environment.

Jadon Sancho, the latest addition to the list, has entered into an open conflict with Ten Hag, leading to his removal from the first team. Currently, he is training with the reserve team.

According to British media reports, it is expected that the trio mentioned above will leave the club upon Ratcliffe’s arrival.

The British billionaire does not plan to stop there, intending to scrutinize investments in the past decade. Manchester United, since the era of Sir Alex Ferguson, has been without a league title. Over the past ten years, a considerable sum of money has been spent on reinforcements that haven’t quite lived up to expectations at Old Trafford (Lukaku, Pogba, Di Maria, etc.).
