Fulham came from behind to earn a 3-2 win over Liverpool in the Premier League, claiming only their second victory in the last 16 meetings against the Reds.
The home side started strongly, with Andreas Pereira pressuring Ibrahima Konaté into a mistake in the box, but Rodrigo Muniz was stopped by Virgil van Dijk. Despite the early pressure, Liverpool took the lead in the 14th minute when Ryan Gravenberch won the ball back and set up Alexis Mac Allister, who scored with a brilliant long-range shot.
Fulham didn’t back down and levelled nine minutes later. Pereira’s cross wasn’t cleared properly by Curtis Jones, and Ryan Sessegnon reacted quickly to score on his first league start at Craven Cottage since 2019.

The hosts went ahead after a poor pass from Andrew Robertson led to Alex Iwobi getting a second chance, which deflected off the defender and beat goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher. Just five minutes later, Fulham made it 3-1 when Muniz held off Van Dijk and finished coolly after Iwobi lifted the ball into his path.
Liverpool improved in the second half. Mohamed Salah set up Diogo Jota, but Bernd Leno was quick off his line to stop him. The Reds made changes just before the hour mark but still couldn’t break through, as Robertson missed and Salah fired over.
Substitute Conor Bradley made an impact, setting up Luis Díaz to make it 3-2. Liverpool pushed for an equaliser, with Harvey Elliott hitting the crossbar and both he and Federico Chiesa testing Leno, but Fulham held on for an impressive win.
The result boosts Fulham’s hopes of European football, while Liverpool will be looking to regain their form after losing three of their last four matches in all competitions.
