Former Chelsea footballer Ruben Loftus-Cheek has signed a four-year contract with Milan.
“Milan Football Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea. The football player has signed a contract until June 30, 2027,” the Italian club’s website states.
The club did not provide financial details, and Italian media reported that Milan will pay Chelsea around 21 million euros for the transfer.
Loftus Cheek went through all the youth selections of Chelsea and made his debut for the first team in 2014. He had a contract for one more year.
The midfielder scored 13 goals in 155 games for the London club and won the Premier League, the Europa League, and the European Super Cup.
He also played on loan at Fulham and Crystal Palace.
On the club’s website, Chelsea called the 27-year-old player a dedicated professional, friendly and popular person in the training center and wished him the best of luck in his future career.
