Chelsea have officially completed the signing of Portuguese winger Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton on a lengthy seven-year contract, for a reported fee of 54 million pounds ($69 million).
The talented Portugal international has joined Enzo Maresca’s squad just in time for Chelsea’s upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester City. Neto, who has spent a total of five years at Molineux, had an impressive record of two goals and nine assists in only 20 appearances last season.

In an interview with Chelsea’s official website, Neto expressed his gratitude for joining the club, saying “I am extremely thankful to be a part of this team. It has been my lifelong ambition and I am excited to finally be wearing this shirt and taking to the pitch.”
Fans got their first glimpse of the 24-year-old winger at Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s friendly match against Inter Milan on Sunday, where he was officially announced during halftime.
