Casemiro is reportedly closing in on a move to Inter Miami CF ahead of what is expected to be his final appearance for Manchester United F.C. this weekend.
According to reports emerging from England and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian midfielder is expected to complete his transfer to the MLS side shortly after United’s final Premier League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. on Sunday.

Inter Miami have reportedly identified Casemiro as the ideal long-term successor to veteran midfielder Sergio Busquets as the club continues to strengthen around global superstar Lionel Messi.
The move would bring another high-profile European name to Major League Soccer and further reinforce Inter Miami’s ambition to dominate both commercially and competitively ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and the continued expansion of football’s popularity in the United States.
Casemiro’s potential departure comes after what has been described as one of his strongest seasons since arriving at Old Trafford from Real Madrid CF in 2022.
Despite criticism during parts of his United career, the Brazilian rediscovered top form this season, contributing not only with his trademark defensive work and leadership qualities but also adding nine Premier League goals in an impressive all-around campaign.

The 34-year-old remains one of the most decorated midfielders of his generation, having won multiple UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid before moving to England.
Inter Miami are understood to be pushing to finalise the transfer before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on June 11, especially after Casemiro earned a recall to Brazil’s squad under Carlo Ancelotti.
Should the deal be completed, Casemiro would join a growing collection of elite football names in MLS as American football continues attracting some of the game’s biggest global stars.
For Manchester United, meanwhile, the transfer could signal another major rebuild phase as the club continues reshaping its squad following another turbulent period at Old Trafford.
