Burnley have signed experienced right-back Kyle Walker from Manchester City. The 35-year-old has agreed a two-year contract and will reunite with his former Tottenham teammate, Scott Parker, who is now Burnley’s manager.
“I’m really happy to be here,” Walker said on Saturday. “When I spoke to Scott and heard his plans for the season, I was excited straight away. He’s done an incredible job getting Burnley back into the Premier League, and now we’re ready to take on the challenge together.”
Walker added that he hopes to bring his experience to a squad that already has a strong defence.
Last season, Walker spent the second half on loan at AC Milan, where he played 16 matches. However, the Italian club chose not to make the move permanent.

Walker leaves Manchester City after eight successful years, during which he won 17 trophies, including six Premier League titles and the Champions League. He was also part of City’s famous treble-winning side in the 2022/23 season.
In total, he has played 410 Premier League matches and has represented England 96 times.
