English midfielder Declan Rice has refused to extend his cooperation with West Ham and could leave the London club in the end.
The Hammers are playing a dream season, a club that only two seasons ago fought for survival in the most elite ranks of English football and was on the verge of bankruptcy, totally reversed the situation by bringing David Moyes to the team’s bench.
The West Ham players finished the fifth-placed last season with phenomenal results in the Europa League, where they will face Kostic’s Eintracht in the semifinals.
Moyes’ team did not give up much in the championship either, and currently holds the seventh position in the Premier League.
However, all that is not enough for the best football player of the team, 23-year-old Declan Rice, to stay at the “London Stadium” even after 2024, to which the current contract obliges him.
According to transfer expert Fabricio Romano, the defensive midfielder has rejected a new offer from West Ham, and he wants to change the club in the summer.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea, for which he played until he was 14, are interested in his services.
Declan Rice made his debut for West Ham in 2019, and since then he has collected 188 appearances, 10 goals and nine assists.
