Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was so furious during the recent match between Al Nassr and Al Ettifaq that he demanded a change of referee.
Al Nassr played in the quarter-finals of the King’s Champions Cup, and at the end of the first half, they had a goal disallowed.
Chilean referee Piero Maza disallowed Anderson Talisca’s goal and ruled it offside, as he claimed that Ronaldo was in an illegal position and was interfering with play.
The Portuguese did not agree with that and the cameras caught him gesturing to the bench to make a change. At first, no one understood what it was about, and at one point he pointed at the referee.
Moments later, the referee was forced to make another decision that further angered Ronaldo, sending off his team-mate Talisca after showing him a yellow card and then a red after watching the video from the VAR room.
