This year’s final of the Copa Sudamericana will be moved from the Brazilian capital of Brazil to Cordoba, Argentina, the South American football confederation CONMEBOL announced.
CONMEBOL announced late last night that this change was made because the Football Association of Brazil asked them to do so.
The reason is the elections that are being held in that country on October 2, the day after the finals.
The final will be played at the “Mario Alberto Kempes” stadium.
The 2020 Copa Sudamericana final was held at the same stadium.
