Como have reportedly moved into a strong position to sign Borussia Dortmund full-back Yan Couto, according to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Serie A club are understood to have made significant progress in negotiations after opening fresh talks with Dortmund in recent hours.

Borussia Dortmund are believed to favour a loan deal that includes an option to buy. According to Sky Germany journalist Patrick Berger, the purchase clause could be set at around €20 million.
The Brazilian defender remains under contract with the Bundesliga club until 2030, having joined from Manchester City in a deal worth approximately €25 million.
Should Dortmund decide to sanction a permanent transfer rather than a loan, they are expected to seek a fee close to their original investment in order to recover much of the amount paid for the 23-year-old.
Only a few days ago, reports suggested Como had become increasingly doubtful about completing the move and had begun exploring alternative targets. However, the latest developments indicate the Italian side have revived their pursuit and are now making encouraging progress.
