Chelsea football club brought in 18-year-old midfielder Andrej Santos from the Brazilian club Vasco da Gama, and also hired Molde striker David Datro Fofana.
The London club did not provide details of the contract, and the British media speculate that the transfer is worth 13 million pounds.
Santos went through the youth selections of Vasco da Gama, whom he helped to enter the strongest league from Serie B last season.
Last season he played 33 games and scored eight goals.
“This is a great opportunity for me. This is a big club that plays in a strong competition like the Premier League and I am very excited. The football players here are so good and I’m happy to be here” Santos told the club’s website.
As a 17-year-old, he made his debut in the Carioca Championship, for clubs in the Rio de Janeiro area. He played most of the season for the under-20 team, at the end of 2021 he made his debut for the first team, and last year he established himself in the team.
He played for the national teams of Brazil under the age of 15 and 20.
Former Molde footballer David Datro Fofana has also signed a six-and-a-half-year contract with Chelsea, the London club announced.
Chelsea stated that the 20-year-old Ivorian forward has signed a contract until 2029, with the possibility of continuing cooperation for another year.
In February 2021, Fofana moved to Molde from the Amadou Diallo Football Academy from Ivory Coast, for whom he played 65 games and scored 34 goals with 10 assists in all competitions.
He made his debut for the Ivory Coast national team in 2019 and played three games.
