Chelsea manager Graham Potter was pleased after his team’s first win in five Premier League games.
The “Blues” routinely outplayed Bournemouth (2:0) tonight in London.
“Congratulations to the players. You can never be sure how the match will end when you have this kind of advantage. The first half was very good. The players had a good attitude and approach and did their best. I think we deserved to win, but Bournemouth made the match really competitive and we had to work hard for these three points. For us as a team, this is a step forward. We didn’t really shine before the break,” Chelsea manager Graham Potter said after the match.
What worries is Reece James’ new injury.
“At this moment I can’t say anything about the extent of the injury, it’s a big blow for us, everyone can clearly see how good he is. We’re crossing our fingers and waiting to see how bad it is,” the Chelsea manager said at the end.
