Can Arsenal End Their Longest Losing Streak Against Manchester City in Premier League History?

Arsenal is gearing up to break their longest losing streak against any team in their league history when they face Manchester City in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Gunners are currently sitting at the top of the table, but a recent string of draws has allowed Man City to close the gap. A win for Arsenal could put them eight points ahead of the reigning champions, but with two games in hand, City is still a serious contender.

Arsenal’s last league victory over Man City dates back to December 2015, and their 11 straight defeats against them are their longest losing streak against any team in their league history. Although the Gunners won 2-0 over City in the FA Cup semi-finals in July 2020, the Premier League has been a different story.

The two teams have already met twice this season, with Man City winning both times. Guardiola’s side has also won all six home league fixtures against Arsenal, with an impressive aggregate score of 17-3.

Will Arsenal break their losing streak, or will City continue their domination over the Gunners?
