Gianluigi Buffon, the Italian goalkeeper, signed a new contract with Parma until the summer of 2024, which means he will be 46 years old then.
The Italian goalkeeper wore the Parma jersey again last summer.
The club where he is currently playing is in Serie B. Apparently, he will stay there because the results do not show that he will be better.
The contract was signed for two more seasons.
“I can give my best, over and over again,” Buffon said.
“I would like to play in Mexico or the United States. However, if I had won the Champions League, I would have stopped playing football. These are experiences I would like to try, but we will see what happens. If you ask me what I would do in the future, I don’t know whether I would be a coach or a manager. I just want to make progress. The fact that I did not win the Champions League maintains my competitive spirit. If I had won it, I would have already withdrawn because I would no longer have any goals, “Buffon said recently about his career.
