The Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho, will not take over the bench of the Brazilian national team, even though Carlos Alberto announced in a statement yesterday that the replacement for Tite is already ready.
Former Mourinho’s player in Porto, Carlos Alberto, spread rumors that the 59-year-old coach invited him to the coaching staff of the national team.
However, the Portuguese has no intention of accepting the selector’s job, his focus is on working in the club, that is, Roma.
Roma is currently sixth in Serie A, and soon they will also face Salzburg in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League.
Brazil was eliminated by Croatia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
