The Malta Beach soccer team selected for action this week in Italy

The Malta Beach Soccer Team is gearing up this week to compete in the International Beach Soccer Tirrenia 2024, taking place in Tirrenia, Italy.

Their opening match is scheduled for Thursday at midday, where they will face Norway.

Following this, on Saturday at noon, the team will clash with Greece in their second game.

Coach Marco Casarsa of the Malta Beach Soccer Team has unveiled a selection of 12 players who will participate in these upcoming matches.

The list of players selected reads as follows:-

Goalkeepers – Brandon Muscat, and Jonathan Grech.

Outfield players – Daryl Micallef, Nezar Abouaisha, Sheldon Mizzi, Karl Caruana, Brandon Lee Bray, Saturday Nanapere, Beppe Barone, Matthew Aggius, Christian Baker, Claudio Venuto.

The Malta contingent in this immaculate Tuscan seaside resort will be guided by Head of Futsal and Beach Soccer within the Malta FA Mark Marlow, in his role this week as Head of Delegation.
