Hamrun Beach Soccer and Naxxar Lions at the top of Nestle Ice Cream Beach Soccer League table

Hamrun Beach Soccer reached Naxxar Lions at the top of the Nestle Ice Cream Beach Soccer league table when they won the two games they played during this week. Contrastingly, Naxxar Lions suffered two consecutive defeats as they failed to maintain the consistency with which they started this competition.

Ħamrun beat Birżebbuġa Tigers 7-4 in a game that they dominated for long stretches.

Emanuel Garba scored four goals with Nezar Abouaisa scoring twice. Chris Baker tied the score for his team.

Birżebbuġa reduced the score through Escobar del Castillo, Nigel Spiteri, Brandon Bray and Lydon Cuschieri.

Hamrun also got the maximum points in the direct game against Naxxar which they won 7-4. The latter were surprised by the Hamrun side who showed clear intentions right from the start.

Emanuel Garba continued to score more goals when he hit the target six times with Chris Baker adding another.

The Lions scored their goals through a double by Lee Joe Schembri and other goals by John Paul Zammit and Nicholas Schembri.

La Playa de Arena took advantage of these results as they were in action three times where they recorded two wins and one loss.

They also beat Naxxar Lions 7-4 with Indrek Palm scoring twice and Daryl Micallef, Sheldon Mizzi, Pak Ling Li, Jonathan Grech and Mantas Makutunivicius also adding their names among the scorers.

Naxxar found the net with a brace from Daniel Zerafa, Yessous Camilleri and Lydon Micallef.

La Playa de Arena also recorded another good victory of 8-6 against Birżebbuġa Tigers.

Pak Ling Li, Daryl Micallef, Mantas Makutunuvicius and Sheldon Mizzi scored two goals each for the winners with Brandon Bray who also scored a double for Birżebbuġa with John Paul Barbara, Kayne Haber and Camilo Escobar who added more goals which despite everything were not enough to save the game.

La Playa de Arena then lost their third game against Ta’ Xbiex 4-3.

Ta’ Xbiex were determined to return to winning ways and found Zvezdan Vukovic in great form when he scored a double with Ryan Dalli and Jeremy Cassar rounding up the score for their team.

Sheldon Mizzi, Karl Caruana and Daryl Micallef responded for La Playa de Arena.

Sliema Beach Soccer had a good 7-3 win against Birżebbuġa Tigers.

Mark Agius scored four goals while Vincenzo Margiotta, Kurt Mifsud and an own goal by Luke Attard added more goals for the Blues.

Brandon Bray scored a double for Birżebbuġa with Jorge Diaz adding another goal for Birżebbuġa.
