Balzan F.C. Signs Promising Goalkeeper Dylan Ciappara from Mosta FC

Balzan F.C. has bolstered its squad with the acquisition of one of Malta’s most promising young goalkeepers, Dylan Ciappara, from Mosta FC.

The 22-year-old Ciappara, an international goalkeeper for Malta under 21, is expected to be a key option for Balzan’s new coach, Englishman David Rogers.

Balzan’s goalkeeping lineup for the upcoming season also includes 25-year-old Serbian Danilo Golovic, who has been confirmed for another season with the team. In contrast, Rudi Briffa, who joined Balzan in the summer of 2021, has not had his contract renewed.

Ciappara, a product of Mosta’s youth system, brings valuable experience from his time with Santa Lucia in the Premier League and Kirkop United. He made his senior debut for Mosta on March 6, 2021, at just 18 years old, coming on as a substitute in the final minutes of a 5-1 victory against Senglea Athletic.
