Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, a football player who played for Arsenal, is officially in Barcelona for three and a half years from today, the Spanish club announced.
Barcelona stated that the 32-year-old striker from Gabon signed a contract until June 30, 2025, and that the early exit clause of 100 million euros can be activated in June 2023.
On the last day of the transfer window, Monday, Aubameyang moved to Barcelona as a free agent, after he terminated his contract with Arsenal.
There he was paid as much as 420,000 euros a week (the most expensive contract in the league), so that was an obstacle.
After administrative and financial problems, Barcelona officially received permission to sign the contract today.
