ARTETA WANTS A STRIKER: It's not easy, we only have Nketiah

The manager of London Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, pointed out that his team needed refreshment in the attack in the January transfer window.

After the 3:0 victory in the FA Cup against Oxford, Arteta praised the double scorer, Eddie Nketiah, but believes that reinforcements will be needed to achieve the goals.

Nketiah has scored four goals in as many matches in a row since Gabriel Jesus had to undergo surgery.

Eddie is getting better, but the problem is that we only have one striker, so they would play for many months until Gabriel Jesus returns. It’s not easy. We have to get the most out of the players at our disposal, but it will be great if we manage to bring in some reinforcements,” underlined Arteta.

Arsenal has been in negotiations with Shakhtar Donetsk for some time regarding the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk.

The club from Donetsk is asking for 96 million euros, which Arsenal is not ready to spend at the moment, but they are not giving up on the transfer yet.
