Arsenal Continues Dominant Performance with 2-0 Win Over Newcastle United

Arsenal continues to push for the Premier League title after a 2-0 away victory against Newcastle United in the 35th round of the competition.

Despite an early chance for Newcastle through Jacob Murphy, it was Arsenal who took the lead in the 14th minute with a goal from Martin Odegaard. Newcastle had an opportunity for a penalty in the 7th minute through Jakub Kiwior’s handball, but the VAR video confirmed there was no penalty.

In the second half, Alexander Isak threatened for Newcastle, but it was Fabian Schar, who put the ball into his own net in the 71st minute, securing Arsenal’s win with a 2-0 lead.

Arsenal currently sits in second place in the Premier League standings with 81 points, trailing Manchester City by one point with a game in hand. Meanwhile, Newcastle is in third place with 65 points.
