Arsenal Football Club has confirmed that Gabriel Martinelli has signed a new long-term contract with the team.
The 21-year-old forward has been a part of the Arsenal squad since 2019 and has already made over 100 appearances for the club.
This season, Martinelli has established himself as a key player for manager Mikel Arteta, featuring in 27 games and scoring seven goals from the left side.
As confirmed, Martinelli’s new contract will keep him at Arsenal until 2027.
Arsenal’s technical director, Edu, expressed his excitement about the contract extension. “It’s a big deal for us that Gabriel signed a new contract with the club.” Our idea is to build a team from young talents like him,”.
The Gunners are currently sitting atop the Premier League table after 19 games, showing their title aspirations. However, it seems the club is also focused on securing their future by locking down players like Martinelli.
