Carlo Ancelotti denies allegations: I am innocent!

Recent reports in the Spanish media suggested that Carlo Ancelotti could face a lengthy prison sentence for tax fraud.

The Real Madrid coach has denied such allegations, stating that they are from an old case.

Allegedly, during his first tenure at Santiago Bernabeu from 2013 to 2015, the Italian was involved in financial irregularities amounting to one million euros.

“Prison? That’s an old story, it started eight years ago. The authorities thought I lived there, which is not true. I have already paid the fine. I am innocent,” Ancelotti declared.
