Real Madrid could find itself in a big problem if it turns out that Luka Modrić’s injury is of a more serious nature, the Spanish “Marca” reports.
Modric injured his hamstring in the match against Girona, which forced him out of the game in the second half.
He missed training on Thursday and Friday and will certainly not be there for tomorrow’s duel with Almeria in the 32nd round of the Spanish La Liga, and if the “black forebodings” are confirmed, he will not play in the final of the King’s Cup on Tuesday against Sociedad.
With the headline “Alarms set off at Real”, the Madrid daily “Marca” states that the club is afraid whether Modric will be able to recover for the first match of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City, which is scheduled for 11 days.
Modrić played 44 games for Real this season and scored six goals with six assists.
Tomorrow, Real will play against Almeria in the 32nd round of the Spanish La Liga, and that match is scheduled for 18 hours and 30 minutes.
The first duel of the semi-finals of the Champions League between Real and Manchester City will be played in Madrid on May 9.
